Information for Prospective Students

Students apply to MSG by applying to a member department.  The course content is taught in an interdisciplinary fashion; if you are an engineer, you will emerge conversant with biologists and chemists and physicists.  And vice versa.  Our emphasis is still on becoming a bona fide expert in your home discipline, though--no shortcuts. 

Stipends are competitive in all departments.  And very competitive in the case of the CMC-IGERT project.  Much information about graduate life can be found on the IGERT web.
