Information for Prospective Students

Students apply to MSG by applying to a member department.  The course content is taught in an interdisciplinary fashion; if you are an engineer, you will emerge conversant with biologists and chemists and physicists.  And vice versa.  Our emphasis is still on becoming a bona fide expert in your home discipline, though--no shortcuts.

Stipends are competitive in all departments.

Students are strongly encouraged to paraticipate in the Macromolecular Studies Group Student Association. MSGSA gives students a chance to participate in leadership positions, targeting improved education and understanding of macromolecular science, both inside and outside the university. MSGSA also trains for entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship (finding and executing business within the scientific community, especially within the university itself), and group dynamics.
