SOME INTERESTING ASPECTS OF VISCOELASTIC BEHAVIOR

 This presentation will outline recent research which has been carried out in the field of polymer rheology. A large number of unexpected phenomena have been observed which are important in many fields of science and technology.

We shall look at phenomena dealing with the importance of material structure , non - Newtonian viscosity , effects of normal stresses, yield stress and diffusion . 

Some models governing the behavior of complex structured materials will be presented.
